Fu nell’anno 2008 che in una notte buia e tempestosa per astrali eventi Ser Foca e Ser Tzorls, provenienti dalla appena trascorsa esperienza con i “Biderben” (punk-hardcore) si incontrarono con Don Misha proveniente anche lui da passati progetti tra cui “Haram” ed “Ice Wine” (indie rock-funk). Il luogo del loro incontro richiamava le più tetre vie di un’ ottocentesca Londra infestata dai ratti; ma questo non li fermò dal dare inizio al loro personale progetto musicale chiamato “The little cherry on the cake”. Le idee dei nostri baldi giovani cominciavano oramai a concretizzarsi, e fu proprio in quel mentre che un’ancestrale creatura bussò alla loro porta, il suo nome era J.: la ciliegina era pronta a dire la sua. Il rock è certamente il rock, e a noi piace parecchio. Ognuno di noi vive la propria anima rock and roll alla sua maniera, ecco quindi che si sente a volte punk, a volte pop e perche no funk; a noi piace lasciarla libera e speriamo che il risultato vi piaccia. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------THE TALE OF THE LITTLE CHERRY ON THE CAKE: A dark and stormy night in 2008. Astral forces wanted both Ser Foca and Ser Tzorls from the band "Biderben" (punk-hardcore) and Don Misha, who had already played with "Haram" and "Ice Wine"(indie rock-funk), to meet. The place of their first date reminded of an 18th-century London infested by rats. However, nothing would have stopped them from starting their new musical project: The Little Cherry on the Cake. As soon as the seven notes became melodies an ancestral creature knocked at the door of the band’s destiny. It was J.: the Little Cherry was ready to play her role. Rock is rock and we like it. However every single member of the band has his own inclinations. That means our music sounds punk, sometimes pop but also – why not? – funk. We don’t bound our overflowing inspiration, we just enjoy it – hope you like it!
